Medix Publishers launched the newest version of the real-time medical magazine MedZine in March. The free MedZine app is now available to healthcare professionals worldwide. Currently, over 8,000 healthcare professionals are using MedZine.

MedZine 2.0 has an extra index page where our medical editors can place articles especially for you. Articles download faster and the app is now available to CIGB- and KP-registered healthcare professionals worldwide. Extensive information about the app’s newest features can be found on the new website

By using MedZine, the medical specialist can easily create a personalized real-time magazine. After entering one of the 47 specialized medical fields, MedZine is automatically updated to include most  recent news from international medical sources which include scientific journals, societies and other renowned sources. Each article can then immediately be shared via e-mail, Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter. The sources used for the app are carefully selected by a board of editors. This board consists of 27 physicians from various medical fields. This assures the medical professional of access to relevant, reliable news.

Easy, fast and current!

Rob Koenraads, director of Medix Publishers, says this app makes it easier and faster for healthcare professionals to acquire information. ‘Medical specialists are always busy and running from one place to another. There are many sources of information, but none of them continuously scan for the latest national and international medical news and publish it in a single magazine. And that is precisely what healthcare professionals want. So we developed the first international medical news generating-app. The prescriber thus remains conveniently informed of the latest medical news relevant to his or her own specialty.’

MedZine can be downloaded for the iOS in the App Store. Users of Android devices will be able to download the app at the Google Play Store very soon. For more information about MedZine, visit
